Our Winter performances will be our traditional Winter Festival, which opens with an original choreography for the SSB students. where we present  “The Nutcracker Suite” wherein Act I,  includes a charming children Christmas party and a hypnotic Snow Scene. Then on to Act II the audience will enjoy all of the highlights and dances. Performances are held at the Center for The Performing Arts, Paradise Valley Community College on December 15th, at 1:00 and 6:00. A ticket link to the PVCC box office will be available here in October.

Our Spring Performance “Soiree de Ballet 2019” we present “The Ballet Class” where the audience gets a look into the training of a ballet student, from the beginning Level A steps through the Advanced level. We always pride ourselves in presenting an original one-act ballet, which provides an opportunity for the entire school to work in am atmosphere as they would with an actual company. Past performances  include acclaimed works such as  “The Seasons”, The Enchanted Room”, “The Garden”, “La Boutique Fantasque” and “The Carnival”.

In addition to these wonderful ballets we are delighted to feature choreography from our wonderful faculty with Julia Chacon’s, Flamenco, and Kelsey Kroll and Rebecca Boizelle, Contemporary Dance and possible other additions from our ballet faculty. Check back for updated theater information and links to purchase tickets to these wonderful performances.

Robrt L. Pela of the Phoenix New Times wrote “Scottsdale School of Ballet, under the direction of big-deal dance mavens, Sibylle Acatos-Dadey and Donald Dadey, has gotten raves for it’s annual “An Evening of Ballet” spring performance at the Herberger.”
