CeCe Huffman

Cece Huffman, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, trained with the Ballet West Conservatory and the University of Utah’s Department of Ballet, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Willam F. Christensen Scholarship. Mrs. Huffman danced as a student, with Ballet West. And as a principal dancer with the Utah Ballet. While attending University of Utah, Mrs. Huffman gained a great love for teaching and pivoted her career from performing, to teaching and choreographing. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Communications and an MFA in Ballet Pedagogy/Choreography.

She has since served on faculty at the Ballet West Conservatory, Washington Ballet, and Virginia Center for the Arts. She has also taught alongside faculty at the University of Utah and, most recently, Arizona State University. Mrs. Huffman is grateful for the invaluable mentors with past teachers, including: Sharee Lane, Attila Ficzere, Bené Arnold, Maureen Laird, Deborah Dobson Käge, Barbara Hamblin, and Willam F. Christensen.

We welcome Mrs. Huffman to the faculty of the Scottsdale School of Ballet for the 2019-20 season and know that she will be a welcome addition to our staff. She lives in the North Scottsdale area with her husband, children and currently has 2 daughters enrolled at the Scottsdale School of Ballet.
